 Posture Correcting Biofeedback System

Abstract

In general, biofeedback is one of the popular clinical physiotherapy approaches in health and wellness that aims to help people who need physiological behavioral, emotional, and cognitive changes. Supervised biofeedback, along with the use of physiological information to train the patient, is used to correct physiological function. In this research, using the IMU-based posture correcting biofeedback system, an attempt has been made to improve and simplify the design of this system according to the method of using it in different situations of people's heads and necks. The design also uses sensors such as IMU and modules namely as NRF24L01 and ESP8266.

Lane Weaving and Vehicle Plate Detection based on CNN

Abstract


The increase in road accidents and definitely regarding human deaths have led to the implementation of high-quality intelligent traffic transportation systems. In this research using the vehicle detection system including license plate detection, a novel method for reducing accidents related to lane weaving happening in both highways and rural areas has been presented. In this method, the vehicle's detection system records 45 frames within a time of 1.5 seconds, and after passing the frames through several filters, the targeted vehicle is identified using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The license plate of the aforesaid vehicle has also been identified using image enhancement, edge detection, and optical character recognition (OCR) techniques.
